There are a lot of interesting items exhibited at the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library. However, this painting grabbed my attention while it was not introduced by the librarians. I think this painting is trying to show that it can be commonly seen in now-days that people build new things on top of the ashes of the previous building. However, as it was being mentioned in class, the greenest building is the building that currently exists. So people need to realize it and help to protect environment rather than causing more damage.
